Danica Patrick wins first IndyCar race

I’ve always been a fan of Danica Patrick, so I am excited to report that she’s finally captured her first IndyCar win while competing at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit (a course familiar to the Gran Turismo generation) in Motegi, Japan.

Danica Patrick became the first woman to win a major auto race on Sunday, using successful fuel strategy to capture an IndyCar Series event in Motegi, Japan. She won the race by nearly six seconds over Helio Castroneves, the two-time Indianapolis 500 winner.
