WHAT DOES TDC MEAN?
Top dead center (TDC) refers to the position of a piston when it is farthest from the crankshaft. The opposite of TDC is known as bottom dead center, when the piston is closest to the crankshaft. For more information on TDC refer to the wikipedia article.
